I Circular Innovation Hackathon
Over 24 hours, 200 vocational training and university students, organised into 40 teams, took part in the 1st Circular Innovation Hackathon to respond to circular challenges proposed by 8 companies from the Balearic Islands in key areas such as water, energy, materials, food, mobility and land-sea territory.

The challenges proposed have led to winning solutions developed by 34 students from 11 Spanish universities and 15 different fields of specialisation, mostly linked to STEM disciplines —engineering, computer science or chemistry— and to the social sciences and humanities —business, law, marketing or tourism—, which the jury recognised for their innovative, creative and viable nature.
